When I saw my total at the grocery store today, I couldn't believe it!  I really bought everything I expect my family to need for food this week (and then some) for less than $60!  This is definitely thanks to a healthy stock of meats and veggies in the freezer.  I've got frozen Italian Sausages (to serve with spaghetti from the pantry and homemade sauce), frozen chicken thighs, and frozen hamburger patties (and frozen whole wheat hamburger buns!) that I plan to defrost and put to good use this week.

I also lucked out when I found those 3 Panko breaded chicken cutlets for only $1.71 (total)!!!  I've never bought them before, but I cooked that chicken up tonight for a quick and easy dinner - No prep and only 25 minutes to bake.  The 3 cutlets filled up my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 preschoolers), along with salad and fruit.  Waaaay cheaper (and healthier) than the dollar menu at a fast food joint!  I'm lovin it.
