Grocery Grab Wednesday

Last week I had 7 nights of dinners planned, but we ended up eating a lot of leftovers (and even had a night where the kids and I just had a box of macaroni & cheese with fruits and veggies).  Since I didn't cook all 7 meals last week, I have ingredients left over for dinners this week...which means I didn't need to buy as much for this week's Grocery Grab Wednesday.  I love it when that happens!

Here's what I bought this week:

I'm feeling pretty great about how much I spent on groceries this week!  Sprouts had some amazing deals this week, especially on produce.  We have plenty of fruits and veggies to last us through the week...and probably even longer!

Here are the dinners I'm planning for the week:

Dinner #1 - Grilled Turkey and Cheese Sandwiches with salad

Dinner #2 - Salsa Chicken in the slow cooker with salad

Dinner #3 - Homemade Pizza: 1 cheese pizza and 1 veggie pizza (maybe with sausage from the freezer)

Dinner #4 - Honey Sesame Chicken stir fry with brown rice

Dinner #5 - Sausages with salad or frozen veggies

Dinner #6 - Black Bean Soup in the slow cooker

Dinner #7 - Leftovers!

The kids also get fruit at dinnertime.  We have plenty of cereal, oatmeal, waffles and eggs for breakfasts this week.  For lunch, we have stuff for sandwiches, yogurt parfaits, macaroni and cheese and we regularly have dinner leftovers for lunch.
